Overview: 225 sculptured and manicured acres of prime land just 15 minutes from downtown Ottawa — is one of the oldest golf and curling facilities in Ontario.
Organized in 1908 as a hunting club, the Club has weathered a depression, two world wars, and a fire that razed the original clubhouse to become one of the premier golf, curling and social clubs in Canada.
As a Members Club, ownership is vested in the shareholders of the Ottawa Hunt and Golf Club.
The Hunt Club — as it is familiarly known — offers a 27-hole, championship golf course that challenges all handicap levels. To offer year-round activities, six sheets of ice were added in 1959. Since then, the Club has developed an excellent curling program that attracts social and competitive curlers of all levels. In the clubhouse, members enjoy fine dining, professional service, and a sense of community that remains embedded in the founding principles of trust, respect, friendship, goodwill, and co-operation.
