Overview: Trafalgar Golf & Country Club opened in the spring of 1958. A Robbie Robinson designed 18 hole championship golf course, Trafalgar offers its members and their guests a challenging fun golfing experience in a friendly, relaxed, family orientated environment.
With no capital assessments to its members, Trafalgar Golf & Country Club has undergone extensive, multimillion dollar improvements over the past several years. Included in these upgrades are a complete bunker renovation, extensive berming along Derry Road and the driving range, a double row irrigation system, a 14 million gallon irrigation holding pond and the reconstruction of all 18 greens to 100% bent grass following USGA specifications. No wonder Trafalgar is golf’s best kept secret!
Practice Facilities: Trafalgar Golf & Country Club has excellent practice facilities allowing our members to practice their drives, chipping and putting with ease. The full driving range gives members the opportunity to practice all shots from woods to irons. Our USGA chipping green complete with bunkers is great for practicing those tricky chip shots and the putting green is available for working on your putting stroke. All these practice facilities are readily accessible from both the clubhouse and the pro shop and are included in the membership price
Clubhouse Facilities: Trafalgar Golf and Country Club maintains a 12,000 square foot clubhouse which boasts a lounge, deck, snack bar, dining room, patio as well as men’s, ladies and junior locker rooms. This carefully maintained facility is surrounded by beautiful flower beds brimming with colour all summer long. The wrap around windows in the dining room afford a breath taking view of the 18th hole while, the deck allows members to enjoy the beautiful country setting as they watch fellow members hole out on the eighteenth green. Bright and airy, the clubhouse is a comfortable home away from home for Trafalgar members whether they are watching the big screen TV in the lounge, having a beverage with friends or enjoying the delicious cuisine served in the snack bar or dining areas.
